The Matias Programmable Ergo Pro Keyboard is hands-down one of the best ergonomic keyboards we’ve reviewed. Not only is it a beautiful keyboard with its laser etched keys but it’s extremely comfortable to use. I personally use this keyboard with my Macbook Pro.

The gel palm supports are thick and comfortable, with folding legs that let you configure the keyboard in a tented position, tilted downward (negatively), or in flat position. Having the split keyboard allows you to keep your wrists in a neutral position, which can help to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome.
In addition, split keyboards can help you to type more accurately and with greater speed. This is because each hand is able to move independently, which allows you to make use of all of your fingers. We found this to be the case with the Matias Ergo Pro keyboard and its sculpted key tops.
Not only is the Matias Programmable Ergo Pro Keyboard comfortable to use, but it also has a number of programmable keys that let you customize it to your own needs. Dedicated hotkeys for the 4 most important keyboard shortcuts — undo, cut, copy, and paste — are already pre-programmed to work right out of the box. Once you get accustomed to using those keys on the far left of the keyboard, you’ll find them to be great for quickly cutting and pasting.
The 12 function keys, the side hotkeys, the split spacebars, and a few other keys, are all programmable. This is a great time-saving feature when typing the same words or phrases many times throughout the day. As an added bonus, there are three additional USB ports so you can easily connect all of your devices. It also includes a USB-C adapter with the Mac version.
