About Me

Hey, I’m Pam.

Pam Wiselogel WFH Adviser

I help middle-aged women (like myself) turn their business ideas into a reality, aiding them throughout the process of getting those visions out of their heads and onto paper, enabling them to pursue the lives they have always dreamed of.

Everybody has a super power. It took me until later in life to finally realize what my super power is… I have a growth mindset.

Having a growth mindset has helped me be successful in many areas of my life. From starting my own business to developing meaningful relationships with people around me. I’m always looking for opportunities to grow and develop as a person, and it has helped me grow in leaps and bounds.

A growth mindset helps me to think in terms of possibilities and opportunities. As an innate introvert, this mindset gives me the courage to try new things and learn from them.

Because of this, during my successful corporate career, I followed several passions on the side including being a wedding videographer, a natural horseman trainer, an inner city school teacher, a member of a COVID task force, a participate in a week long cattle drive across Florida, and an online business owner, amongst other things. (Oh, did I mention that I recently started “playing” the harmonica?)

Did I succeed at all of them? Girl, please! (well, I did survive the cattle drive so that was a plus!)

Life is short, sweet friend! Make the most of it by embracing those crazy ideas and giving them a go. Don’t let fear or doubt hold you back from achieving your wildest dreams. Build that parachute you’ve been dreaming about, book that spontaneous trip to Bali, or start that cupcake baking business you’ve always talked about. The only things you’ll regret in life are the things you never tried. So go out there and chase after your passions with all your might!

Being able to recognize that failure isn’t the end of the world is an empowering feeling. Knowing that you can overcome obstacles and strive for success even when things don’t go as planned can enable you to become a more confident and open-minded person. Don’t be afraid of failure, but instead use it as a learning opportunity.

I’m thankful for my growth mindset, as it has opened my eyes to what I am capable of achieving. Having a growth mindset has given me the tools to continue learning, expanding, and evolving. No matter what life throws my way, I know that I can handle it with a growth mindset. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future brings.

What I’m Doing These Days

I built my high-ticket dropshipping e-Commerce business from scratch to a multi-million dollar business, all from the comfort of my own home. I’m most proud of the fact that it is run by an all-female team. My vision when I started was to provide excellent careers, along with a great home-life balance, for my lady team members.

When the opportunity came to sell my business, I wanted the vision to remain the same. But, guess how many female buyers there were? Nil, none, zero, not a single one. That was so eye-opening to me. Where are all the female entrepreneurs?

I turned down the offers I received and chose not to sell my business, because my dedication to the business vision and team members is worth so much more than the money earned through the sale.

Having worked in the computer industry for my entire career, I have experience finding the best technology, hiring and running remote teams, and managing complex remote work-flows. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is how to create a work-life balance that allows me to take care of my mental and physical well-being. I pass that philosophy along to all my employees to create a great team working environment.

For the past 16 years, I positioned myself to work from anywhere in the world. One of my favorite remote offices was on a train from Kaiserslautern, Germany to Paris, France. Typing on my laptop while sipping a cup of hot java watching the beautiful countryside roll by. That’s my idea of a great work environment!

I continue to research and learn. And what I have learned I want to share with you.

About Work From Home Adviser

If you’re like me, there are days when it seems impossible to find time in between family obligations and personal responsibilities, to get any productive work done at all. I get it. Balancing a career and family time is tough. Heck, on sunny days, I’d rather be outside than sitting inside in front of a computer (which is why I have a lovely patio and a laptop!).

Working from home while trying to build your online business can be great, but it’s also easy to let your work take over your life if you’re not careful.

Most people who try working from home end up either working all the time or hardly ever getting any work done. It’s because they’re not set up for success.

I can show you how to set up a productive work-from-home environment that will help you get more done in less time. I’ll help you create a schedule and routine that works for you, find the right tools and technology to make remote work easier, and develop strategies for staying focused and motivated when you’re working from home.

My goal for Work From Home Adviser is to help more women entrepreneurs take a shot at their business goals. So, whether you are looking for a new business checklist, trying to survive WFH, or trying to make some extra money from home with a side hustle – you’ll find it here.

With decades of experience in the field, I hope to be your go-to source for information on all things work-from-home related. So whether you’re just starting out in your work-from-home journey or you’re a seasoned pro, bookmark this site for information, advice, and inspiration!
